what to get your father... for father's day

I may have mentioned this in past posts, but, if you don’t know, I’m a big gift person. For me, the thought behind a gift makes it. If I know that a gift was just bought last-minute it kind of makes me upset. It’s not that I’m ungrateful, it just makes me feel like a last-minute thought.
With that said, father’s day is just around the corner. Since I have worked for the past 3 years, I have really tried to put a lot of thought (and a ‘lil money) into the gifts I give my parents. I have found 15 items that I believe most dads would love to receive for their day and won’t break the bank!
(PICTURES AT THE END)
A nice sweatshirt
Most dads have a favorite sports team. If your dad doesn’t that’s okay! Below I have listed a quality, plain sweatshirt and a sports sweatshirt with a few different team options!
Plain Sweatshirt ($19 – $40)
College Team Sweatshirts ($17 – $40)
MLB Sweatshirts ($17- $70)
Great reusable drinkware
Honestly, this is a great gift for anyone! Whether it’s a mug, an on-the-go tumbler, or a reusable water bottle, reusable drinkware is always a safe and useful gift.
Golfing Mug ($10)
R2-D2 Coffee Mug ($20)
Double Insulated Mug 2-Pack ($30)
On-The-Go Thermal Mug ($13)
Reusable Water Bottle ($23)
Tumbler ($15)
A watch/watch band
Watches are a hard gift to buy for a man. My dad has his go-to watches but it may be worth it to buy a cheaper watch for him to use either working out or for smaller occasions!
Target Watch ($20)
Amazon (Casio) Watch ($17)
Fossil Watch ($90)
Shark Watch ($65)
If your dad has an apple watch, buying him a nicer or more casual band could be an easy gift as well!
Metal Mesh Band ($14)
Metal Link Band ($20)
Casemate Leather Band ($50)
3 Pack Sports Strap Bands ($11)
A good journal and pen
This one depends on your dad but some dads use journals daily. I know my dad uses his journal to take notes in meetings. Finding a good journal/pen duo could be a nice and helpful gift for you!
Classic Moleskin – Lined ($20)
All-Weather Journal – Lined ($14)
Leuchtturm Journal ($19)
G2 0.5 Pens ($7)

Quality coffee
This one would go great with some reusable drinkware! Try going to a local coffee shop and getting some gourmet coffee grinds for your dad to try!
KLLR Coffee (~$20)
Idk where else to link! Check your local coffee shops!
Ice cube molds
Some dads like to have the occasional drink! Buying some ice cube mold may be a gift that they love to use. I bought this for my dad a couple of years ago and he loved it!
Round Ice Cube Tray ($11)
Square Ice Cube Tray ($9)
Car gadgets
If you own a car, you know that making it a homey place can be nice at times! Buying your dad a phone stand, trash can, or car kit may be a great gift if he spends a lot of time in his car!
Phone Mount ($10)
Trash Can ($12)
Alexa-Enabled USB Charger ($29)
A book with something he likes
This gift is another one that is more dependent on the recipient. My grandpa loves books about his hobbies. He has a few on cars, fish, and other cultures. Buying your dad a book about things he loves could be a great way to acknowledge the things he is passionate about!
1000 Record Covers ($15)
New York Times Explorer Book ($10 – sale price)
Trio Marvel Comic Set ($25)
Desk trinkets
This is one of my personal favorites. If your dad works at a desk, finding some good trinkets to add to his day could be amazing! Whether it’s a picture of your family or a bobblehead of his favorite movie character, a game, or a decorative mug this gift is super easy to customize to your loved one!
Picture Frame ($3)
Star Wars Figurine ($30)
World’s Greatest Dad Mug ($10)
Desktop Tetherball ($10)
I hope I inspired some ideas for father’s day! I also hope that you and your family are safe and happy. If you try any of these, feel free to tag @sincerelyjamielynn in your pics on Insta! I’d love to see what you guys buy(: Until next post guys!
