early fall fashion trends i'm obsessed with

Fall has always been, and may always be, my favorite season. Whether it’s the cooler fall air, the pumpkin decor, or my birthday on October 15th (hehe subtle drop) fall wins me over every time.

One of my many favorite things about fall is the FASHION!! I’m naturally hot-natured but am also a BIG fan of sweaters. That’s why I believe that the transition season between summer and winter is my jam. It’s also worth mentioning that I live in the south so my version of ‘fall weather’ is most likely watered-down compared to some of the Northern States. I’m dying to make it over to New Hampshire to see some real fall foliage.

Anyway… now that we know about my obsession with the actual season of fall, I want to talk about some fall fashion trends of 2020 that I can’t get enough of!

*disclaimer… I’m not a fashion guru AT ALL these are just some trends (that may have been around a lot longer than this fall) I’ve seen pop up on Pinterest or Instagram consistently that I think are perfect for fall :)) *

Sage Green

I try and not get too caught up in these trends but I have been LIVING for this color! I have seen this color subtly take over my feeds and I’m a sucker for this sweet, soft green. From matching sweats to sweater vests to nail colors this pale green is the perfect addition to an early fall wardrobe!

Sweater Vests

Growing up sweater vests reminded me of the school administration or middle-aged men but the sweater vest has stepped of its game!! I love seeing these pieces layered with a collared shirt underneath! I think it’s the perfect fall outfit.

Mini Shoulder Bags

We are now subtly seeing some 2000s trends! Prada has been releasing re-editions of their mini shoulder bags and man have I been seeing these trends catch on!!

Babydoll Dresses

These cuts of dresses were also super popular this summer but I have seen many companies release fall styles of the babydoll dress! I’ve seen these be super flattering on a ton of different people and can see them as a really cute layering piece!

Cozy Matching Sets

Now THIS is a trend I’m obsesssssed in. I believe that the SKIMS cozy collection really started a revolution with cozy, cute, and comfy sets. The idea of a ‘set’ is by no means new but the presence of them has definitely increased. I see many people wear the matching tops with nicer bottoms out or just rocking the whole outfit from home.

Cutesy Hair Accessories

Obviously hair accessories aren’t a trend but I want to highlight some that I think are super popular right now! Thick headbands, hair clips, and BANANA clips have been flooding my feed recently.
